Cara A Bolen is Florida-girl born and raised. She has spent the majority of her life in the Pan-Handle of Florida. In her early days in the Pan-Handle Cara was a beauty pageant contestant and sketch-artist. After attending Niceville high school Cara moved away to study computer animation and illustration in Gainesville, Florida.

It was in Gainesville that her passion for art began to truly blossom. She took inspiration from the natural beauty found in Florida’s state parks and from her new husband and high school sweet-heart, Micah Bolen.

Today, Cara’s paintings are literally flying off the shelf. Her most popular pieces are her ultra-modern works depicting young women in their daily life. With these works of art she attempts to show the world that beauty comes in all packages and that the struggles of her generation are not that much different from her parents or grandparents.

As Cara awaits her first son, Noah Bolen, she looks forward to a long and certainly popular career as an artist and is excited about illustrating her first book as a part of Why Daddy Is A Republican.
